Thanks! LOL...Jasmin really has never expressed an interest in having a sleepover. She normally prefers to go to others homes because of her brothers. She has two REALLY good friends that she adores and they love to come over to our house.
I am thinking lights out at 11. Then they are welcome to watch a movie or tv if they choose until they fall asleep.
These girls are pretty familiar with the rules so we are good but a refresher never hurts.
Well ladies the sleepover was a HIT! Jasmin and I went to Blockbuster to rent Camp Rock and College Road Trip. Then we went to the grocery store to purchase all of the snacks and breakfast foods. She picked chips and dip, cookies, the makings for ice cream sundaes, pop tarts, donut holes and taoster strudel for breakfast and juice. We got home and the boys had already set RockBand up in the family room and moved the ottoman out of the way.
Because of all the rain we got here, the girls arrived at about 7:30..we ordered pizza at 7. The first thing they did was put on their pj's and EAT! They partied (RockBand and dancing to music on our stereo) until about 11:30. Then I made them lay out their sleeping bags. They then made ice cream sundaes and prepared to watch their movies. All the while giggling and screaming (like only girls can). At about midnight I turned the lights out and they were hunkered in for the night in front of the tv. I went downstairs at 3am and they were all sleep. When I turned the tv off... they woke to say they weren't sleep. To which I said "ok..just talk quietly". I didn't hear anything though. *smile*
The next morning they were up at 8!! They had breakfast and showered and waited to be picked up.
Hi, My name is Angie. I have raised a daughter. Girls do what girls like to do. Gab, talk about boys, talk about cloths, talk about friends, talk about anything. Just provide some food and maybe a video or two. They will take it from there.
