This morning we were supposed to have a meeting at 10:30 at the riding stable regarding a fun show Kristen wanted to enter. So I wake up at 9:44. ACK!!! We leap out of bed, get cleaned up and race out the door, get there and NO ONE is there. sigh. So we hang around and finally at 11:00 I said we had to go get something to eat and we'd be back as there was a demonstration at 12:00. So we get back at 11:55 and we missed the meeting. ARGGHHH!!! They are sooooo unorganized there. Sometimes I like their flexibility but otherwise they are so flying by the seat of their pants it drives me crazy. She claims she'll send me all the info by e-mail but we'll see. If I haven't gotten anything by Wed. I'll be e-mailing her.

So we came home and Kristen is out in the neighbor's redneck pool (the Dad has something set up in the back of his truck, not sure if its a tarp with water or what, but the are sitting there keeping cool, I went and bought cat litter and now I'm kind of bored. No other plans for the day, maybe another load of laundry if I get motivated. Or read some more of my book. Just kind of blah today.

What is everyone up to? Anything exciting?

LOL! I'd love to see a picture of the redneck pool! How funny! I went shopping and got my 20 mo old DD a new booster seat, she's tired of the high chair. I'm trying to get her to take a nap. I did some laundry and dishes. Wow! How exciting! I bought my DD Emily a flute online yesterday. The music place we rent from doesn't sell used flutes, and I can't afford a new one right now, so I got a used Yamaha flute on ebay. I'm hoping it'll be ok. I've had good luck with ebay so far. I can't see the point in renting one when I got a used one for less than $200.
I'm kinda bored, too. I need to get some groceries later, too.
My girls will be home tonight, one last week of school! Yay! I'm going to look into more camps to keep them busy this summer.
Is there any way you can really show us a picture of this redneck pool?!

I'm bored, too. Mike & Aly went for a ride and I was hoping to take a nap, but Mike asked me to go pick up Happy Feet from Blockbuster. They saw it already, but I haven't, so we're going to watch it together. But right now, I just want a nap...lol.

That's funny. Well, I was just cooking a pizza from the store and burned it!
Oh well, i have other food. Luckily, it was cheap...unlike pizza from Round Table. They're good, but pizza is so expensive these days!

Hey there! I took Mackenzie on a three hour drive up to the mountains today to drop her off at Girl Scout Camp....wow!!!! It's a new camp and we were grumpy at how much it costs ($350) for sun-friday) but once I saw it I saw why! It's like a resort...plug in the margarita machine and we mom's would stay there too! Horse back riding, awesome stables, a ropes course up in the air for confidence building, it was just too much! Heck even the couches in the living area of the cabin was nicer than the stuff in most people's homes! LOL!!!

So that was my excitment for today...

That price isn't bad at all. I'm sending my girls to a christian "Cowboy camp" and it costs about the same, it's for 6 nights and 7 days. They sleep in covered wagons! They went last summer and loved it. The price is good, since it includes meals, too.
Hope she has a fun time! Our trip will be at the end of June, about 3 hours, too.
