Emma is in that 1/2 doze state where I can't put her down or she'll scream. Got about 1/2 of my stuff packed to leave tomorrow, need to finish mine, Emma's and do Jordyn's clothes. Jordyn has a 1/2 day today, her last day of school, then she's going to a friend's house after school to play and swim if the rain holds off. That's about it for us. I need to finish laundry, clean the house and the car.
We're leaving for Michigan tomorrow so I'll stop in once in a while to check in, but mostly I'll be MIA for the next 2 1/2 weeks.
Lisa is that storm supposed to be headed up my way also? I need to check the news and doppler to see. I needed to run a few last minute errands today for our trip and i definately don't want to take the baby out in the rain, I had to do that last night to pick Jordyn up from gymnastics and it was not a pleasant experience. Does it ever just drizzle or rain normal here in Texas, is it always so dramatic?
I'm up here just north of Austin. It poured here this morning for about 10 minutes and quit, nothing since then. Emma is sleeping and I don't want to wake her it took me forever to get her down, but as soon as she wakes up we'll head out to get them done. I am still not used to it down here, in Michigan it would rain a lot, drizzle, but rarely did it ever rain as hard as it does here. One of the last days I was at work before maternity leave it was raining, I forgot my umbrella and ran from the parking garage to the building, I swear only 100 yards tops, and I was soaked all the way through my clothes.
thanks for that. The rain isn't here yet, Emma is up and nursed, so we are going to head out. Naps, it depends, somedays she's up all morning and then takes a 2-3 hour one, other mornings she'll sleep for 45 minutes at a time and then be up for an hour in between. She's not predictable yet.
Not doing much. I was thinking about visiting with my sister, my niece is 3 months younger than Sarah. But, to get there, we have to drive by the river where the whales are! Have you guys heard about Delta and Dawn? I know there will be a million people out there, esp. since it's a holiday weekend. So, my DH is working and my older 2 are going to there dad's. So, it's just me and Sarah and the birds. We have 3 birds, they're noisy and messy...long story.
I'll be cleaning the house. The weather will be nice, 80's. I might go to church if I have it in me to watch Sarah through it, she gets antsy.
That would require me to actually put it back in the window Laura and I'm not there yet. LOL We didn't need it until out of the blue. Hopefully this weekend. We had a HUGE rainstorm here this afternoon, even had some hair so I'm hoping it cleared the air out a bit and it won't be so bad. It wasn't too bad last night. I had a fan on in my room and I had to cover up because I was too cold. Its cooling off at night so makes it bearable.
