yes, the snow did stick to the roads. I guess I do have all-weather tires....the treads are good, and I was even noticing that when I pulled into my driveway...you can see the treads very well.

On my way to school all was fine, but on my way back, I slipped a few times...thankfully I didn't go off the road or anything.

Oh, cool! I'm jealous, our snow wasn't very snowy and didn't stick much at all, only on things like the raised decks, trampoline, etc. It was in the 80's that morning, so the ground was still too warm for it to stick.

Beautiful photos, enjoy your snow day.

she says she thinks this is the first time she remembers.

We had flurries a few years ago, but it hasn't stuck since she was 5.

because as of the 10pm broadcast they were saying the temp wouldn't get low enough (they were predicting no lower than 37º) and the soil was too warm (in the 50s-60s) for ANYTHING to stick.

So we were expecting flurries that melted as soon as they touched anything.

Aly wore her Rocket Dogs (light canvas)...I wore New Balance with the squishy outside, not all leather.

Our shoes are soaked now.
