I would say Gabby is more creative than she is artistic. She did have a drwing that was supposed to be done in the style of Georgia O'keefe place on the school web site last year. However if she had to draw a realistc cat or whatever, not sure it would be the best. She is very good with color and stuff and liek I said she is extremally creative.
Hi Sofia and there are lots of pictures to look at too!How is your weekend going?I am jus sitting here DYKing waiting to go pick up GAbby in 10 mins or so from play practice. Then we are going out to dinner a week late for Dale's b'day.Gabby is excited because it is a seafood restaurant.
OK, here's a little stupid dilemma I'm having, and I need advice
I don't want to post this on a separate thread, because it has nothing to do with the board, LOL
So I thought I'd ask my DYK girls
Here goes: Yesterday when I was volunteering at the hospital, one of the nurses let it slip that Michael was so happy that Valentine's Day fell on a Saturday, because he is planning to take me away for a surprise weekend. Michael about passed out when she said it, he was so freaked that she let it slip. I felt bad for him, so I played dumb, like I hadn't heard anything. And he hasn't mentioned it.
So here's the thing: I AM SCHEDULED TO HOST BUNCO HERE AT MY HOUSE ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13. I only host once/year and it's a big hassle to change it, but I will. . . However, how do I change it without letting Michael know that I know?
I'm sure he's planning to take me away Friday night. . . And I'm sure he's totally forgotten about Bunco. But if I tell him something like: "Oh, we'd better get a sitter for Saturday night, since I host Bunco Friday night" he is going to be forced to tell me, and I feel so bad about that.
Maybe he should check with me instead of planning surprises. But how can I complain, really? At least I heard about it and have a heads up to figure it out. But it's going to take about 2 weeks to reschedule Bunco. It's a huge hassle. People have it on their schedules for months. And I'm sure I'll need to get a bunch of subs.
Anyway, I thought I'd run this by all of you and see if you have any advice
