Matthew and Justin are not as close as Tessa and Jenna
They fight A LOT
At times, though, they're really close
They've had a good day today, but that's because Michael played with them half the day and was referee (Something I never do, LOL)
They are so different in personality
Sometimes they get along great, but most of the time they don't, and it makes me sad
I want them to be close when they're older
Michael's brother is 3 years younger than him, and Michael says they used to fight constantly, even though they shared a room, and they're pretty close now, so there's hope for my boys, LOL
LOL..the year I had the identical girl twins (my first year of teaching), I had one in my homeroom/first hour and one in my 7th hour. Well, for the first 3 days of school, 7th hour is called early and the students report back to homeroom (for paperwork, textbooks that stay home, etc).
So, on the 2nd or 3rd day (it took me THAT long!!!), I was used to one student staying who was in my 7th hour and in my homeroom (she had a different 1st hour), and so she was the only one in the classroom--not one of the twins, I'll call her K. So, the homeroom students are lining up at my door, and I see A (twin) in line. I said, "Aren't you in my 7th hour? Why didn't you stay inside the class like K did?" She laughed, and said, "No, B (the other twin) was in your 7th hour, I'm in your 1st hour." So, then I realize they have the same last name and say, "Oh, y'all are twins??????"...lol.
DYK yes I bet the field will look huge to them....just imagine the stands filled w/people & it can be overwhelming. BTW how far away of a drive is UW from you? What sports are the boys doing for spring?
DYK Rach's club just posted the rosters for lacrosse today & she made it back on her team but her friend made the 2nd team so I'm not sure if she'll be playing...from talking to her she thought she was as good as Rach until she went to the tryouts the wkend of the 20th. She
LOL....Mike had the LSU game on last night & I was snuggling with him, and said something like, what just happened? (I wasn't watching but I knew LSU was cheering), then I saw the score, and said, "Oh, they got a touchdown!!" He laughed and said, "Yeah, home run, right?" (Cause he knows I don't know football..but I do know that 6 points means touchdown, 7 points means touchdown + extra point, and 3 points is field goal.)
So, one of the next plays was just 300 guys piled up on top of each other and the refs were already there. I couldn't think of the word "refs", so I said, "That's stupid, the umps are already there and they're still piling on top of each other!" Then I looked at him and said, "I know, they're not umps....but YOU know what I mean!"
Mike played baseball in high school, but not for the school, he played for the city league (the better option at the time)...the high school baseball coach spent most practices making the players run, not actually practice. One of his teammates made it to the pros.
DYK didn't know u had a hot dog....have a friend w/one & one of Rach's friends has a mini-daschund named Lacy....they're a bit too yappy of a breed for me ;-)
Gabby got home around 1.I am kind of making her hang around home today.I did take her shopping to spend some of her Christmas money and gift cards. She exchange a pair of pants at Delias and got herself a pair of ripped jeans. She got a new tote bag like bag and a top at Pennys. Then she got herself some jewerly and a pair of slppers at Macys. Then she went to icings and gotsome hair clips. After that it was off to Barnes and Noble where she got a book. Then she went to Ulta and she got herself a home spa kit.She is massaging her fet right now in soapy water.Dale went to his dad's to watch the Penn State game.Gab and I had Arbys for dinner(how aweful is that on a holiday?)I was going to make spaghetti and meatballs, since i am still waiting for the part for my oven and I could no cook anything in the oven.Plus we probably would have had pork anyway.Sofia's prime rib dinner sounds so good, but to be honest I would not know how to cook prime rib.
