I really hate to recommend it for 5 year olds (or not recommend it) because I'm so far removed from those younger childhood years. Aly was probably 8 when she saw it, and I had absolutely NO problem whatsoever with her watching it at that age. I was a bit overprotective in her watching movies when she was younger (I still am...although every now & then there's a PG-13 movie I'll let her watch...depending on why it's PG-13...potty humor is fine as long as they don't use bad words....Twilight I let her watch but was ticked off for the kissing scene because it NEVER got that heavy in the first book or the second....but we had already seen it on the previews so she had already seen it before she saw the movie--btw, Stephenie Meyer was also not happy with the kissing scene...I don't see why the director didn't cut it shorter if even the author was unhappy with it---but she's not directing the next movie anyway).
Ella Enchanted is rated PG and when Aly was 5 (she was almost 6 when she started K), I probably wouldn't have let her watch it, but I probably would have by the time she turned 6 and had been in K for a few months. We did buy her Ice Age when she turned 6.

So that is you in your avatar, you look almost plastic, like a doll--was it a editing technique that did that?
Very beautiful though.

Phillip (DH) is my party planner. He is an awesome planner--infact it annoys me sometimes because he thinks of every little detail.
Our kids have had some kick butt parties over the years.
