in the book the house was white and the inside (the bottom floor was white), but the walls on the other floors were lined in wood. In the movie, the house was wood and the inside was white.

LOL

I didn't that house was beautiful and looked 100 years old with a large porch.

The house actually belongs to a Nike executive that allowed them to use his house.

They did get the windows right.

However, in the book, all his music was on CDs. I LOVED in the movie that they had 8 tracks & vinyls cassettes along with CDs. That was more realistic to his age.

my mom read Danielle Steele (my mom died in 1985, so I don't know how long Danielle Steele had been writing by that time), but she would always check out the newest book from the library.

I've never read her books, but I've seen some of her movies and I'm just not interested.

I went grocery shopping yesterday. Also worked on my lesson plans for the week last night. Got everything printed and my house pretty much cleaned. I still have to sweep & mop my kitchen and fold & put away laundry (last foldable batch in dryer now).

I don't want to go back to school. :o(

DYK my point exactly...the policeman said something about analyzing the data points to see if certain ethnic groups were targeted. I told him it was my neighborhood that was targeted & that it didn't matter what race or if anyone was even home ;-) He agreed that was probably the case

DYK no motion light in front of our house...we live on a street off a fairly busy 3 lane (each way) road so its the main road into our neighborhood. Another neighbor further in said she heard something, looked out her window & actually saw a bunch of kids & told her DH to go outside but it was too late her mailbox was lying on the ground & the kids drove off.

DYK also even tho there are restrictions on licenses for those under 18 some kids still drive after midnite anyway, they don't care. We've had a couple publicized teen car accidents like that where not only was the HS student not suppose to be driving but also had several friends in the car w/them. HS drivers under 18 are not suppose to have any other passengers under 18 w/them....
