DYK that's good, no pressure on you...but then its not like one returns the baby if its not the gender one was hoping for LOL! My DH didn't care either as long as baby was healthy...plus my two were uncooperative so we never found out the sex beforehand

I was amazed at it all. we dont have the billboards like that at home or even half of the lights....so its new to us. we loved the subway. wish we had something like that here.

I'm semi-familiar with DC too

Michael got his undergraduate degree from Georgetown, so DC is old hat to him, and we've gone there quite a bit too

I take it for granted as well, but I have to say that STILL when I see all the white monuments lit up at night, it makes me feel a tad patriotic, LOL

LOL about sending the baby back. . . NOT!!

You fall in love with your baby either way

We didn't find out the sex with Matthew, but with the others we did

wow they really cleaned it up since then. There were so many police strolling through the crowds all day. but i would say thats because of new years....but still cops were everywhere. we only had two people beg for money to us they were both on the subway and it was only the last day or so. so i guess we were lucky.

You know, I gotta say that I am STILL not used to the NYC skyline without the World Trade Towers

A year after 9/11, they had 2 beams of light that went up into the sky in place of the towers, and that was pretty cool too

Did you go to Ground Zero?
