Yes Brandi, I make very basic siggies. I can't do any kind of animation or glitter, etc.

Today I became pretty angry at Caleb's school.

The principal left it up to teachers if they get to make up their Christmas parties (last day before break was a snow day)

But she found time for them to watch the rest of Mr. Mongorium and she will allow a craft (since she asked one of our moms to please include it in our holiday party) but (and I quote) "there will be no games, or food or drinks!"

I was seeing red.

Aww..that's so sad.

When Aly was in Kindergarten, 3 of the 4 teachers decided not to do a Halloween party. So the teacher that wanted to have a party grudgingly agreed to go along with their decision and told the parents at Open House (which was in Oct that year because of construction) she wasn't happy with it, but it was for all K classes that there would be no party.

Then, on Halloween which was a Thurs, the 1st graders (same hall) had a party and Aly's teacher was so upset that she sent notes home that day that she was having a Fall Fest the next day and if anyone wanted to help please do. Mike & I both went to help out (Mike says it was seeing my patience with the Kindergarteners that made him decide that I needed to be a teacher--not just a preschool teacher, but with a degree).

Anyway, just wanted to share that story of how upset the TEACHER was that they didn't have a party.

I LOVED "She's Come Undone"

I read the entire thing one weekend when I was pregnant with Justin

I was so impressed by how well Wally Lamb could write as a female character

Wow, you thought Gabby was a boy?

How did they misdiagnose THAT? LOL

You either have it or you don't ;)

I can see saying "girl" when it's really a boy more easily

I guess you didn't buy any boy stuff though, since Dale didn't know

I never would have been able to keep that from Michael, LOL!

I'm on the down end of "Twilight" now, and I just bought it yesterday

It's a quick read, but it's long
