LET'S DO A MONTHY DYK THREAD--THEN WE CAN TRY TO BEAT EACH MONTH'S TOTALS!

I ALSO THINK IT WILL BE MORE "WELCOMING" TO NEWCOMERS!

SO WHAT A GREAT TIME TO TRY IT SINCE THEY ARE SHUTTING DOWN OUR #4 THREAD!

DYK:

She had a really nice time.

My mom came with me to the dinner last night.

Now she knws what it is like to stay in a college dorm.

How far away is Kayleigh's camp?

I hope she enjoys herself.

dyk Sandy, my husband is like that too

dyk If I don't specifically tell him to make sure that Ian takes a shower, he won't have him do it

dyk That's one of those things which just annoys me

dyk he just doesn't think about that day to day stuff and I don't feel that I should need to tell him

parents voted like 80-something% here in favor (it was before I could vote for it).

According to the "social call-in" in our local paper, many parents complain about it all the time and claim if the vote were to be done again, it would be no.

I would vote yes as a parent AND a teacher (think we could vote twice????...lol)

LOL...Taylor Swift was doing an interview and she said how excited she was that she had a bunch of Grey's Anatomy shows she hadn't watched yet on her iPod (wouldn't that be eye-strain???...but anyway...), and the interviewer asked why does that make you so happy? She said, "Have you not seen Grey's Anatomy?"....lol.

I'll admit I haven't seen it, so that's why I'm not caught up in it. I am now caught up in Without a Trace and Cold Case that both come on several times into the wee hours of the morning on TNT. I mean, we've been sleeping in through the hottest part of the day, so that's a good thing, but I'm going to hate getting back into a routine of early bedtimes and not seeing it anymore.
