DYK Jamie ran in & made me turn around, she pulled out my pony tail holder & said it looked so short!!

DYK DH evidently told them I had cut my hair, something along the lines that I would look "different" lol

well, there used to be places around here that would do the cut/style for free if you donated it. It started with a couple of trendy places, then Fantastic Sam's started, but by the time Mike & Aly did it, no one was doing it for free anymore.

we just got back from a play. It was really cute.

One of Aly's 5th grade teachers was sitting near us. We chatted about school stuff and a trip that her daughter took recently to Boston & New York.

They hired at least 4 new teachers there! I thought about it when I first started seeing transfers...it would only be 1/4 mile away (I wouldn't even have to drive). But, I reconsidered. Even though I have a much longer drive, I'm teaching EXACTLY what I want to teach, I know almost everyone, and Aly will be so much better off at my school than at the school she's zoned for and would have no other choice but to go to.

We were also discussing how there are a few "new" school districts out there, that are doing remarkably well AND paying their teachers well, so the whole district is losing teachers. So, when Aly's in high school, I should be able to find a job closer if I don't try before then.

I'm about to go to Wal-mart. I can't leave yet because Aly needs her hair washed and she needs her "private" time before she lets me in. It's still so long that she can't do it herself...PLUS, she's now dealing with dandruff or dry scalp or something...it's related to the hormones she's going through right now.
