LET'S TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

LET'S DO A MONTHY DYK THREAD--THEN WE CAN TRY TO BEAT EACH MONTH'S TOTALS!

I ALSO THINK IT WILL BE MORE "WELCOMING" TO NEWCOMERS!

SO WHAT A GREAT TIME TO TRY IT SINCE THEY ARE SHUTTING DOWN OUR #4 THREAD!

dyk Ian just goes to the town rec department day camp
dyk he enjoys it
dyk They spend 2 days a week at a town park with a lake for swimming, 2 days a week at the elementary school and Fridays they go on a trip
dyk Kayleigh never did this camp, she used to go to the town one for the town that we actually live in, Ian did that one for a couple of years too. This one is with the town that his school is in.

I don't think I was ever that showy.Gabby has a girl in her grade who carries her self older than I ever did.I am shocked at sme of the outfits I have seen her in for school concerts. She is 12 and she carries herself like she is in her 20's.

dyk hmmm not much dyk chatting today

dyk what's everyone up to?

dyk it's a beautiful day here and I'm stuck home with the plumber doing work instead of taking the kids to the water park

dyk Kayleigh got a ride with a friend so at least she is going

dyk I've been tidying up, doing a few chores

dyk tomorrow will be a chore day too, and then to the lake after Ian gets home from camp if the weather is as nice as they say

dyk I picked up a bunch of things at the library today so hopefully I'll start a new book tonight

dyk Several people recommended The Goldfish Went On Vacation so I'll be reading that

dyk I actually miss work a little

dyk I'm so blessed that my 14 year old is modest..

dyk she's 5'5 and thankfully doesn't like to show a whole lot of skin..

dyk Leaves me wondering where the parents were when they were leaving the house..
