DYK I use to have a coworker from WV....her brothers all would go squirrel hunting in the fall....I asked her why since they're so small

DYK the only thing that I could see would be making a hat from their tail lol as I can't imagine they have much meat but she said her brother's roasted them (ick)

yes, Slidell is up I-10 from New Orleans. LOL on your DH's association.

They were calling it a pond, but I saw video footage of it, and *I* call that a lake. The body of water was huge.

The alligator was probably 35ish years old. They usually will harvest an alligator that is killed and some of the profits of the meat, the skin, the teeth, the claws, etc. would go to the alligator industry (state law)--which makes it OKAY to buy alligator products (okay as far as the alligators are concerned, since this is what got them off the endangered list). But I don't know if they will in this case since a child was attacked.

LOL

I've never eaten squirrel. I'm sure Mike has, his dad cooks anything..lol. I don't like any wild game and I didn't grow up eating it either (nobody in my family hunts).

dyk squirrel?

dyk never tried it, not appealing

dyk I would be game (hahahaha I made a pun) to try venison

dyk and I would like to taste goose

dyk roadkill flavored animals like squirrel, skunk, beaver, woodchuck do not tempt me

dyk on a separate topic, here's an article that I was featured in http://lbbc.org/content/newsletter/insight-summer-2008.asp#s149

dyk I am very full and soon I will read to Ian (Harry Potter) and then hopefully go back to my book (The Abstinence Teacher)

dyk Kayleigh had a great time swimming at her friend Nicole's house

dyk Nicole has 4 sisters and a nice pool and her mom is a great lady

dyk Ian declined a short trip to the lake after camp so we just hung here at home where it was very hot.

We're adding 5th grade to our school, and the 5th grade teachers will be coming to our school. So, they're "new", but not NEW. Well, one of them has just learned she has breast cancer. Our AP sent us an e-mail to pray for her.
