At a loss...help!

Aly's invited to a birthday party of one of my students (her mom is a teacher at the school). The girl is in 7th grade.

I have NO clue what to buy for her gift.

She lives in a rural area with no major chain anything for at least a half hour away, so I don't want to buy her a gift certificate to a place like Blockbuster, or a movie theater, etc.

What I'd normally do would be to buy a gift certificate and maybe a gift to go with it.

HELP!!!

Does she have an i-pod.If she does you can get her a $15 itunes card that she can use on her computer to buy songs. Then you can get a gift to go with it.If she is a girly girls you can alos get her lip gloss or eye shadow kits.Gab got the cutest make up kit last week at ulta for $15 it has eye shadow lipgloss lipstck lip pencils and the works.Gabby also likes jewery.Or you could get her a cute tee shirt aerpastle has them for a good price they also have polo shirts 2 for $20.If she is tiny you can always get her the xxs which firs really tiny girls.Gab is a size 12 girls and she can where xxs or xs from this store. They also have cute pjsshort and tee shirt type stuff.Gabby still loves gift cards though.I-tunes,deliaswet seal, the mall haqs one for everystor in the mall aeropastle also has one.A swim tote might be nice,or a wallet.

how about a gift basket with a bunch of things in it. Say bath things, hair things, some lip gloss and nail polish... or maybe a new slushi maker or ice cream maker..... they are kind of cheap at walmart. Jackies was only 20 $... good luck. I know that age can be hard.

Since you don't have many chains nearby (gift cards seem to be the standard now) I agree with Body Shop (or similar) stuff. Anything that smells nice, body wash, lotion, lip gloss. I know my DD would enjoy getting that.
