LOL - here in middle school (ds11 is finishing his 3rd week), they have the daily lunch or the ala carte - and naturally they all want to go to the ala carte line...it's a symbol of 'status' and 'coolness'...they have stuff like toasted ravioli (a St. Louis thing), deep dish pizza (that runs out fast), fries (yes, fried, not baked, darnit), big pretzels, fancy drinks (Fruitopia, PowerAid, etc.)...and, of course, much more $$$ than the $1.65 daily lunch! Sigh. I permit it once/week. Otherwise he can choose off the daily lunch menu or brown bag it.

I need 2 votes again on this one, LOL! As Sam and Rachel do nothing the same, I almost always pack a lunch for Rachel, while Sam always buys! They do have a choice at school, so if he doesn't like the main A lunch, he can get something else. Rachel will occasionally buy on "breakfast for lunch" day.

What you need is a second (secret) identity, then you could switch to that identity to place your second vote. LOL

How are you feeling?
