Wow, quiet day today!

The dog is trying to lay on top of me.

I'm laying on the couch all covered up and she is mad that the computer is in her way.

Becca got dropped from track :(

She couldn't finish her part of a relay.

Dh said he'd take her running to practice, but she refused.

Mine was trying to sit on my chest, between me and the computer.

She then decided to lay on my pillow, with her head on my shoulder.

The rest of her was curled around my head.

Apparently our track coach has been cutting a lot of people lately.

It doesn't really make sense to me....they push them to try out and make a big deal about how they want them all on the team, and then they cut them when the kids are really trying and enjoying it.

I don't know first hand though, just from what Abby has said about her friends. I know a couple of them were upset about it.

I also meant to say, sorry about the thing with her friend. It really bugs me when kids are like that.

Sorry Becca got cut.I hope she isn't too upset. It is probably for the best sinc eBecca is so involved with music.Once you get to be in 7th or 8th grade kids really need to make the choice,I know Gabby had to drop track last year because of dance and the play.a few of her other friends ended up dropping because of volleyball.I don't think the coach dropped Gabby it was just too much.some days she left the house at 7:20a and she was not home til after 10p.She was way too stressed and too tired, especially if she had to do homework at 10.Too much drama a tears and for what? This year play and dance are way more managable, she can come home a relax for a short time before play or dance.Everyone is happier!

I know music kids (at least the serious ones) can get rather "cut-throat" and snarky at times.
