DYK hey Gina how is Amy's soccer season going? Rach tells me there are ~60 girls trying out for the MS soccer team. She doesn't think she'll make it because a lot of the girls are on competitive club teams. As for the appraiser, he had to reschedule to Thur due to his sick child. I don't think we'll have issues w/the refi since we have enough equity - we are going to a 15 yr loan (from 30).
Congrats Andrew! Does he get to take the bus also? I know for our magnets u have to provide ur own transportation. I hope the courses are more challenging for him &
I won't be here today. Andrew is home sick today. He woke up with a low grade fever and sore throat.... so, we are watching tv together. Right now, we are watching Ghost Whisperer....about 5-6 shows worth. Can't watch them when Amanda is home, she is deathly afraid of them. But Andrew loves this stuff...just like I do!! :-)
We watched the end of Rambo earlier and the beginning of The Eye....stuff we missed before...;-)
I'll be driving him to the school. which means freeways everyday...yikes!! LOL and I also hope this is more challenging for him. But, from an open house night the other week..someone had asked a question about this place being more challenging for kids. Because they said their kid wasn't challenged at all in Middle school....and they said that probably in Freshman year, it won't be...but, come Junior year.. it will be....so, I do hope so. They said the most challenging part of this magnet school for most kids is the fact that they will have all AP or pre-AP classes. but Andrew already has all pre-AP classes... and knows what those are like...so, Freshman year is more of 'get used to high school' thing...but, with a helluva lot less kids....only 700 as opposed to 3000.....
