Wow!!! Lots of sick bugs out there. Feel better everyone!!! I'm off to do childcare at church in a few minutes. Then I've got laundry, grocery shopping, and straightening up around the house to take care of. We had a busy day yesterday and it looks like the house exploded! In ALL rooms!!! Tonight Evan has a student council meeting, Megan has musicianship and then she and I need to get her a new leotard. The one she's wearing now is so tight it's getting a little obscene. Time to bite the bullet and get her a new one.
Good morning all. Not much going on here. Jackie got up and moving nicely this morning. Although it took me a while......lol Got her to school and ready for her day. My dad is leaving to spend the day with my brother but will be back in time to pick up jackie. She has gymnastics today. that should be fun. Other than that dinner who knows. All is well...
WOW--busy chit chat thread today... I am just taking a second to breathe before the kids get home from school, soon. It was a CRAZY weekend, lots of kids' basketball and other events, and I feel like I need today to recover! But, I was up before dawn for exercise class, then got the kids off to school, then threw in a load of laundry, then grocery shopped, then I had to go feed my father-in-law. He is in a nursing home and needs assistance to eat, and they will let him have "regular" food (as opposed to the pureed baby-food looking stuff) if a family member is there to help. My m-i-l is away for 3 weeks -- believe me, she's earned the break -- so DH and I are taking turns with "lunch duty." It is always an adventure in that place!
When I finally got home, DH was here, working from home. I HATE when he is here during "my time" at home, which I told him in a not-so-tactful way. Luckily he has a good sense of humor about it all. :-) He finally left about 10 minutes ago, and the bus will be here in about 5 more minutes. So this is all of the "me" time I get today. :-)
Cub Scout Pinewood Derby tonight -- DS's (age 7) car is, um, interesting... You can certainly tell he did most of the work on it himself, so that's a good thing, right? :-)
Well Jordyn just called me from school and left a message, she's got a temp of 98.8, no technically its not a temp, but her normal temp is 97.1, so its high for her.
