We had a pretty relaxing weekend.I was supposed to have a meeting today to sign Gabby's GIEP for next year. However after getting up,doing full hair and make=up.driving Gab to school etc...I get to the meeting and the person in charge of the meeting tells me he has to reschedule since it is testing week and no one who is suppose to be at the meeting will be there. This is all well and good and I do understand the reason, but it would have been nice if they could have figured this out Friday instead of having me make an un necessary trip(vent done)So anyway I will have
Happy Monday everyone!! The weekend was very draining. Saturday we needed to do some cleaning up around the house and the kids fought it tooth and nail even after a walk and a trip to the park. Sunday I picked up my cousin from Atlanta at the Chicago airport adn drove him to Madison to see his mom (my ill aunt). The whole experience was sad and emotionally draining. I'll spare you the details but it was hard - easier than I expected but hard nonetheless. I left Madison about 8:30 and got home just after 11:00 last night. Got up this morning and Evan wasn't feeling well (had an asthma attack the really kicked his butt yesterday, didn't sleep well last night, and had a low grade fever this morning) so he's home from school today. I provided childcare for Bible study and an Al-Anon meeting at church this morning and now I'm about ready to collapse. Think I'll have some lunch and see how I feel. If I'm up to it, I'll do some laundry and practice for the pieces I'm doing with the children's choir this Sunday at church. Otherwise I'll take a nap.
Tonight Megan has a musicianship class and a boatload of homework. She was supposed to do part of it yesterday but dh didn't make her complete the list I left so now she's got to do it all tonight. This is NOT good...
That's about it... Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and you all have a wonderful day today. It's 60 and sunny here so that put a smile on my face!!
how crazy. dont they send out notes to tell you not to schedule any appointments during that week as well??? and they cant figure that out? what a mess. oh but you did say the attendance office is not doing a good job either.. so i guess that does not surprise me.
