It's the beginning of a new week? How did you start it off?

Well, I didn't make it to the gym, as of yet anyways, but I spent about 30 minutes outside raking leaves, that's got to count for something.

Oh, and I did manage to write jordyn's cheer make-up check for her and renew my drivers license online. I was definitely not very productive today!

Let's see here...hmmm. I drove out to work and dropped off a couple of "Lifelines" for my mom and picked up a couple returns for her. Lifeline is the "I've fallen and can't get up" service for the elderly or disabled. My mom works for the local hospital that contracts these devices; she sets them up and does the billing for them. I've become the "carrier pidgeon" for them since I work out at another hospital and one of the volunteers can't make it down to the parent hospital of our facility! I brought Jax with me and we visited with some people I haven't seen in awhile.

I then picked up the girls and dropped them off at their practices. Although Teagen's was cancelled! She was really upset. Spoke to Kenzie's coach and they are changing her events for the Section meet. Picked up some groceries at Aldi's and ran them home before the "pasta feed!"

I was really tired today; recovering from my weekend at work! 12 hours shifts seem pretty scnazzy when you think of it in terms of you will have fewer days at work, but wow they are hard back to back!

I should also add I left a message for the dean at Kenzie's school! She had back to back flare ups with two different girls last week and on Friday, they decided to give her SLC ("in school suspension"). Well come to find out that the teacher wasn't even in the class when the situation started and Kenzie just answered this girls question and the girl went off on Kenzie. Kenzie was wrong in that she called the girl a B, so the school had to do something. Anyways, they are also giving her a detention and I'm putting my foot down. She lost almost a full day of instruction, that is enough. This girl even swore at Kenzie in front of the dean and he did nothing to this girl about it and at the end of the day the girls stuck her hand out the window of a bus and flicked K off; seriously not going to make my daughter go through anymore of this and the girl gets off Scott clean. Kenzie is having a hard time controlling her emotions and letting these girls get the best of her. Sigh.

Then I also worked on a voicemail for our home phone (emergency 911 call use only)...stinking phone company must have sold our new number and now all we get are solicitor calls. So I changed our message to say, "this phone will not be answered and take off your call list. We are a do not call number!" Then I put our ringers on mute. We don't even put the number out there as our home phone nor is it listed, so I can't figure this one out! Grrrr...makes me wish I could just cancel the stinking line. Oh well!
