Well, Tim scared me.  He said he mght call in sick.  NO!!!!  Don't like it when e stays home.  But then he said he'll probably go in.  Ugh, I hope so.  LOL  I am putting away the groceries finally and doing some clean up.  I need to straighten up the back porch since we removed the outdoor carpet this weekend.  Katie did but I am not happy with her arrangement.  I am taking myself out to lunch.  I wanted to go get a special coffee after everyone left and if I had enough money but with Tim still here that may not fly this morning darnit.  GO TO WORK!!

Nothing going on tonight so far.  I am taking the girls for ice cream after school.  (Long story)

I was going to make ground turkey tacos but found I need to cook up our mushrooms soon so I need to change my plans.

Good morning ladies.  Trying to motivate myself...  The morning has went well so far, Madison is finally falling into a groove and drop off is much smoother now.  DH seems to be getting the morning routine down well also I am happy to report.  I have some projects I am working on.  I have to run out at lunch and put gas in the car and a few other things.  Nothing planned for tonight as of right now, I need to redo all of DH's work shirts.  I have been trying different "all natural" laundry detergents and this latest one apparently is not getting out the grease in his shirts and pants.  I picked up some regular stuff over the weekend and will go back and rewash his stuff tonight.

Have a great day!

Industrious morning for me.  Laundry is going, dishes are done, the kitchen is sanitized (haven't see nany mice or poop except for one in a trap but I'm convinced they come out while I sleep and scamper all over my counters), I'm caught up on emails, and began packing for our trip.  After looking over our itinerary and realizing how much of our plans are educational and meet state standards (okay SC standards), I've decided not to count these as vacation days but rather school days.  No different than a school trip except for length of time...

Zeph has some work this morning and then Lit Group this afternoon followed by some social time at the park with the Lit Group boys.   I'm hoping someone brings a soccer ball or frisbee. The garage is still not organized and I can't find anything in there!

Tonight is more laundry and school work.  I need to stop by the old house and pack up the last of my Tupperware.  I think I have 3 forgotten boxes in a closet that I packed ages ago and didn't make it over. Dinner is take out.  I'm already in vacation mode.

Argh.  I misplaced the credit card on Friday, and now I can't find it.  Looked all over the house and it's still missing.  I've looked at our account online, there's nothing there that shouldn't be- so it has to be in the house somewhere.  Really don't want to call it stolen b/c then we have to notify the recurring charges.  I know of 2, verizon for our cell phones, and the music store for "stuff".  I'll give it one more day, and if I can't find it today, I'm just going to have to get a new one.

Played phone tag with the business office at Kristen's school.  If they won't talk to us- we're going there in 2 weeks anyways, and then she can go with us to try to straighten it out- it would just mean that we'd leave early enough to get there by 12.

Have an interview at 11:45 for a stocking position at Macy's.  Not my first choice- I'm not going to make very much.  And the hours can start as early as 4am.  Ick.  It's also seasonal.  But then, I could tell Pearson in Dec that I'm available to work next year, and most of the supervisors were saying that there'd be work there next year from Jan- May.  Hate the fact that for the last couple of years that all I've been able to find is temp stuff- but it is what it is.

Becca's been asking for a pair of Tom's for weeks now.  I really don't want to shell out $50 for a a pair of shoes.  If I worked there, I think they've got Tom's there, and I could use an employee discount.  Wish me luck- it just gets frustrating that I've had 2 really good interviews and neither place that I went to has called me back, and 1 place is going on almost a month now.

Youth orchestra starts tonight, so I get to run there.  Dinner's leftovers.

Thanks Ann, I have done that in the past and it always worked well, I may have to go back to it. I just feel like I am spending forever on his laundry alone trying to get stains out!

Especially for such a good reason once in a while is okay! What a great thing you're doing. Hope it's a huge success. So much need for something like this!

Hi everyone, hope your week got off to a good start. I feel like it's going to be a long day.

It wasn't a bad day at work, but some of the students were a little challenging. I don't hate my new job assignment, I was afraid that I would. I walked 40 mintues before work and then came home and did a walking dvd, I'm trying to increase the exercise. I cleaned the downstairs bathroom and vacuumed the living room. We had breakfast for dinner - french toast, sausage and fruit.

Kayleigh had a regular school day, then went out for a coffee with a friend.  Ian had a regular school day. They are both now on their way to a 4H TAG meeting.

The kitchen is pretty much cleaned up already. i'm going to play a few games, then read, then watch tv and relax. Have a great evening!

Grrr. I just typed in a whole long post and then hit a wrong button and it disappeared. Totally my bad... Been in a haze most of the day. Still trying to get my head around my dad's surgery. I can't believe what they're going to do! I'm having bad dreams and trouble sleeping. Spent part of the day getting things in order so it's not total chaos around here while I'm gone. Putting together some things for the hotel/hospital too. Brain puzzles, food, books, etc.

Things are finally back to "normal" around here. Both kids have swim practice tonight. Snacks before and late dinner. Headed to the grocery store in between taxi trips so I may just grab a rotisserie chicken for dinner. Leftovers can be used for chicken sandwiches or chicken tacos. I'm into food doing double duty these days.

Need to get a good night's sleep tonight because tomorrow is a busy day. Both kids have swim practice,I need to go to a Scout meeting and dh has to go to a meeting for parents of Evan's homeroom teacher. Sort of a get to know you, here's what to expect for the next three years type thing.

Have a good evening everyone!
