Sorry, I'm just confused. I thought you had moved within the same district before the school year started and were waiting for the house to sell. Are you going to try again? Ours is finally on the market and priced to sell. I'm eager for the mortgage payment to be gone. Once we only have rent, we'll have freed up close to fifteen hundred a month which will be nice going into savings. We're looking into our lender's cash for keys program in case it doesn't sell within 6 months. We need to balance the short term benefits against the hit on our credit. Have fun unpacking. I'm still going through boxes with odds and ends that I don't want to get rid of but have managed to do without for several months.

Checking in real quick, tomorrow will be better...  We got home after midnight last night, didn't get til bed til after 1 and had to be up at 6:45 to get the girls up and off to school.  Jordyn stayed home to do homework and sleep today.  I had a doctor's appt and a chiropractor appt.  Did laundry, invoices for DH, did some cleaning and still have some dishes and stuff to do tonight before bed.  We had stew in the crock pot for dinner.

Cheryl, I'll check on the email thing, it may not be possible until they get the quirks out of the switch over. I'll send one of the techies over to help you.

Hope everyone in Sandy's path is ok.  I think up north is getting hit harder than we did.  Lots of rain, wind.  But we never lost power (we'll see what happens tonight).  Lots of tidal flooding in the area.

It was a no school day.  Tomorrow is a 2 hour delay.

And I have a tech question.  We've decided to ditch the landline.  Doing that, bundling the cable and internet providers AND refinancing the house should save us a couple hundred a month.

I think my email address to here is on the verizon acct- and it's verizon that we're dropping.  Any clue as to how to change my email prefrences?  Otherwise I guess I'll just come up with a new user name and start all over again.

And I have a brag.  Finally got a GPA update from the kid.  3.55!  Not what she had in high school (and I think she's dissapointed) but I'm still impressed.  And it's above what needs to be kept for the scholarships :)

Oh, we didn't sell the house.  We just tried.  LOL  We don't want to move in the middle of the school year so off the market if came when our 6 months was up.  We are going to unpack the boxes and settle back in.  :-)

We had very low key day.  My weekend did not go at all as planned.  I needed a day to recoup form the stress.

I did some laundry, facilitated some school, wrote my poem, questioned the sanity of us ALL doing writing assignments and took care of some dishes.  Tonight we are carving pumpkins and I am hoping to wrap and store some holiday gifts.   After Z's asleep, DH and I plan to watch a horror movie and then I want to read more of Lost City of Z.

Dinner is take out-so much for my cooking resolve.

I just got on my computer.  Sorry so late.  I have been doing laundry, cleaning all the floors, unpacking boxes we packed up to show the house when it was up for sale.  Straightened up the hall closet upstairs since Natalie decided to make a mess of it.  I've also enjpy my kitty laying in my lap keeping me warm.  Tim forgot his lunch at home so I ran it up to him, stopped and picked up a soda on my way home.

Dinner will be hamburgers.

Yes, those in them hurricanes path please stay safe.
