Morning everyone. Ready to start another week... Minor tiffs between the kids this morning but everyone got off okay. I'm headed out to work in a few minutes. The house is a disaster because we let it go last week and we were gone all weekend. Dh went to MA to take pictures at my cousin's wedding and the kids and I went to my parents because Megan had a bat mitzvah to go to. It was for a friend of hers from camp so it was in Milwaukee. We had a great time hanging with my mom and Evan got a chance to go shopping with her so he feels like things are a little more "even". She's been buying Megan a lot lately and he was getting VERY jealous. It also gave me a chance to recharge because I had my parent's house to myself for several hours and their house is clean, uncluttered, warm, and welcoming. A great chance to forget my worries and destress for a while.

Hoping to use today to catch up on things around the house and get it cleaned up. Would love to have a clean home with pumpkin bread ready for the kids when they come home this afternoon. I have several phone calls to make after work today. I was thinking I would go to the health club this afternoon but I think they're closed this week for maintenance (painting, deep cleaning, equipment repair and replacement, etc.). It's a beautiful day so maybe I'll go for a long walk. Wish I could find my iPod...

Have a great week everyone!

Good morning. A little bit of a rocky start this morning, but onward and upward! I have a bunch of little stuff to do, phone calls to make. A quick errand at lunch to do. Tonight, probably not a lot. The little girls want to go to the YMCA swimming, but I don't know that i really feel like it. I have some laundry to finish up from the weekend and some cleaning to do. But otherwise, hopefully a quiet evening at home.

Have a great day!

hmmmm pumpkin bread! That sounds good, I may have to put that on my list of things for this weekend along with picking out pumpkins with the kids!

Afternoon.

So since the BFF is 18 and can now take as many kids as she wants to in the car legally- she decided to drive everyone to school today.

That's a nice compromise Cheryl! I know they did something like that one of the last years Jordyn did gymnastics, they cancelled all classes, but left the team practices going. Which was mostly fine, except for the team kids that were still in the 9-11 range that felt left out, so they did a big trick-r-treat thing during their dinner break. I'll have to ask Jordyn what her gym is doing as she has to work (if no volleyball finals) and give her that suggestion if the owner/coach is looking for a compromise.
