Cool in the 50s but at least its sunny (temporarily) for now. Quiet here at work since tomorrow is the Veteran's day holiday so some people took off today to make it a 4 day wkend. Normal school day for the girls altho neither one of them wanted to get moving out the door this AM.

Have a good day everyone!

Hey ladies! I am sipping a ginger ale as my stomach is a little upset.

Today I am leaving work early as we have a meeting at the school about our route's school bus driver. She felt the need to share that she hopes "Barack Obama is assassinated!" ... long story short I am pushing for her termination! If the teachers had to refrain from sharing the politival views, why didn't she? Apparently it has really caused quite a stir at the school.

That's all...

have a super day!

How about a "what we did today" instead of what's planned! Pretty good day here overall, made my usual sourdough batch (to sell) and it's still not rising hours later, bummer. I mean, they ARE rising, but slowly, though I just peeked and they seem to be doing better. Supposed to be rainy today, but just ended up humid and no rain, which just stinks, we need rain badly.

Ds just went hunting for a while, but came back empty handed (he did get a deer this weekend though, all made into jalapeno sausage, YUMMY). Now I need to get his attention back to listen to Julius Caesar a while, we decided to do it via CD while reading alongside, it's much easier to follow that way. School went fairly well today, dh took away computer privilege from ds this weekend (long story involving slip shod work and a very messy room) so he's been pretty motivated to get his work done and earn it back.

Dd had guitar this afternoon, then got invited to community bible study for Jr. High kids, she really does NOT need more activities, but she really wanted to go so I told her she could try it out. Good news is they feed her there, lol, she wasn't at all interested in the tortilla soup I made for dinner!

Went grocery shopping this afternoon in my old disreputable sweat shorts, no makeup, just bummy as can be, of course I literally and truly saw someone I knew in EVERY SINGLE aisle, it was funny. While talking to someone in one aisle I could hear a little girl's voice saying "hi Mrs. Mylastname" from the next aisle over, it was funny how many people were there at once that I knew. Ah well, vanity isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Now I need to decide if I'm going to be a nice mom and wait until dd is home to watch Dancing or watch without her. Did my fellow DWTS fans see that Julianne is singing tomorrow, that should be fun! She's apparently not well enough to dance though.

OK, off to have some of that soup myself, and bake the bread!
