Good morning ladies!  Quiet day as usual here.  I have a few small projects I need to work on.  I have a few errands to run at lunch, then a chiropractor appointment after work.  Homework and reading tonight after work with Emma, Jordyn works and has practice tonight.  Not sure what dinner is tonight yet, I didn't get the soup in the crock pot, so possible left overs.

Busy morning here.  I have cleaned the kitchen and done some laundry and folding and putting away.  The animals are fed and I'm showered and ready to go.  Dh had a freelance phone consult at 7 am which got us up and going.    Zeph seems to have discovered the joys of sleeping in and is waking up between 8 and 8:30 which we need to move up by an hour.  We'll leave shortly for his computer class and then its lunch in the car on the way to  Lit Group.  Hoping to go to the track afterwards. Zeph can have a break while I'm there and then it is more school when I get back.  Laundry tonight.  No idea on dinner.

Hi everyone.  I'm off today because I had to take Dh for his colonoscopy appointment. While I was waiting, I finished my book.  We went out to breakfast when he was all done.  NOw I'm just doing bits of this and that while at home - FAFSA, hotel reservations for accepted student visits at Kayleigh's two top college choices, yearbook ad, etc.

Kayleigh has a regular school day and rehearsal til 9pm. Ian has a regular school day and is staying after to work on a project with his tech teacher.

Have a great day

Good morning, Monday is now my new day off. I used to work 3 fI'll days and  2 half days, last week we changed my schedule to 4 full days.  This will allow me to accept a new position in special Ed. I hope this arrangement will go forward into the new school year. That leaves me with Mondays off, or I can accept substitute teaching positions if I wish. I already have quite a few Mondays booked for substituting. I dropped DD off at school and ran to target to get her a new phone case. I don't think she is going to be happy with it, but it will have to do for now. I also found a cute sweater for 70% off from that Nieman Marcus collaboration they had.. The rest of the day is laundry, bills and general getting ahead for the week. DS has play practice and Boy Scouts tonight, I need to bake brownies for the parent meeting. There is going to be a speaker at DD's school I would like to hear so I am hoping DH will be able to swing by the house to pick him up. I really think we need to just suck it up and buy another car for DS to drive.

Login problems?  Who has login problems?  ME.  Desktop won't let me log in.  Kindle will log in but not post anything.  Laptop has let me login- let's see if this posts.  Last time it did not.  Kind of frustrating, but I'm only willing to play around here when I've got time.

Kid needs to go back to college.  And yes- i never thought I'd be saying it.  But she does.  Driving me NUTS.  It's nice to have her around BUT:  She doesn't want to get up in the morning.  She does stay up late at night- but I have to admit she hasn't been obnoxious about it.  Only once did we have to tell her to keep the noise down.  She doesn't think she's got to do anything around here b/c she's not living here 90% of the time. WRONG.  You use the bathroom, you clean the bathroom.  Internet will get shut off if you don't (and we've threatened a couple of times to turn it off)

I think it's going to be Saturday when we take her back.  She kind of wanted Friday but I've got this interview/ test thing with a dispatch job with the city (don't have a clue if I'm even in the running for it- but what the heck- I signed up to test and it's not costing me anything but time) Friday.  Sunday's not an option anymore- she's got a rehersal for orchestra at 1pm, which would mean leaving here early (riiiiiggghhhhttt) to get her there.

The other one has her snarky issues too.  We may have actually figured out why.  After a major breakdown Friday- Becca said that she's stressed out over 2 major auditions, and she's not a "shoo in" for either of them.  One or both (All-state's going to be a tough one and we have to drive 3 hours to James Madison to audition) may say no.  And she's never gotten a "no" in an orchestra audition.  I told her it doesn't matter to us- but it matters to HER.

Still no job.  Argh.  Nobody ever called me back.  That just plain out irritates me.  I can handle rejection- I'm just kind of over the "oh we really like you" interview and then I hear- nothing.  I did get asked to do temping again with Pearson so I have at least a month's worth of- something.  I think I need to do something different- just what I don't know.  I went to a library program and met a lady at the state unemployment office who will look at your resume for free- I'm thinking once Kristen's away I'll do that.

Afternoon!  It's been a productive day.  I got the kids off to school and went to the store early since we might end up with some freezing rain later.  Figured there would be a rush on the stores later.  We needed milk and that is one of the first things to run out when things like this happen.  It's cold again, we had a nice wamr but wet weekend. It wactually got humid for a bit.  I have been taking care of the little things I over look most of the time.  Doing some laundry and chaing Matthew's sheets.  Moved his bed around and then put my laundry away.  Had to run get Katie, her period started early so she needed to change and I ran her back to school.  Nothing going on tonight.  Just a cold rainy evening.  Dinner will be steak and baked potaotes with veggies.
