I hope you get what you want! I'm hoping to get a position where I get a good amount of coverage time. We'll see what happens.

Good luck in finding out your job assignment. I still don't know either.  I usualy find out the Friday before school starts, but this year, school starts next Wed and staff goes back next Tues, so I guess that's when I'll hear. I hope you get a good assignment!

Finally, a happy day at our house! All situations and stressors still the same but the kids and I are in good moods. Haven't spoken to dh since this morning so I don't really kow how he's doing. Evan had a great day at school. 2 As on Chem quizzes and excited about his glass art class. Megan had her first day today (well half day) and seemed okay with all her classes. She said she got lost a few times cause she's in a new building but didn't have a negative word to say. Hooray!

Dinner tonight is steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Chef Evan is on duty! The kids love steak and dh and his vegetarian self won't be home until 9ish so he'll find something for himself. Sorry if I upset anyone with the vegetarian comment. It was directed more toward dh than anyone else. He and I and a few knockdown drag outs this weekend and I'm not quite over it yet. I won't go into it but he basically yelled at me in front of Megan and said some really hurtful things. Didn't show Megan anything good about how men are supposed to treat women and that women have a right to stand up for themselves... Sigh...

Peace reigns in our house!!!

Hi everyone! Our camping weekend was wonderful, a very relaxing few days away.  We got home early this afternoon. I've already been food shopping, am running wash and doing a million things. No rest for the weary, but at least I've had a real shower!

Ian is busy with his summer reading. He apparently was a slacker this summer. Maybe not going to daycamp and having too much free time was not so good for him.

Kayleigh has been out running errands, finalizing plans for things this week and trying to get her schedule fixed (ooops! Who needs math anyway?)

HOpe you are all having a great day. Can't believe it's my last week off !  Form letter arrived from my principal but no mention of what my job position will be grrrr

Jordyn wouldn't normally dress up, but they do a senior breakfast for the senior girls at the local country club and its theme this year was "breakfast at Tiffany's" and it was optional to dress up, but most do. She wore just the dress and heels to the breakfast but was wearing the cardigan and flats for the rest of the day of school as she wouldn't have time to change before school started.

Okay... Adorable pics! Jordyn looks beautiful! Megan's first day was today and she just wore denim shorts and a nice top.

Busy and frustrating morning.  Jordyn was up at 5:15 to get ready for senior breakfast this morning, the power went out for 5 minutes at 6:00, got Emma up at 6:30 to get dressed for pictures with Jordyn who needed to leave at 6:45 to pick up 2 girlfriends on the way to senior breakfast.  Met Emma's bus driver at 7:11 to introduce Emma then DH took Emma to school for the first day at 7:45 and then home to meet me.  I got Madison up and around and ready, then DH slow poked it around the house for AN HOUR before we finally left for him and Madison to go to the chiropractor, stopping on the way to pick up my badge to get into work, then we dropped Madison off at school and I finally made it into work at 10:00. sigh.  Please cross your fingers my car is done today at the mechanics.  I can't deal with another day of being late or having to get a rental car.  Its a quiet day at work, I debated even coming in since its a skeleton crew day, but I felt bad that I wasn't here on Friday.  Tonight, going to have to coordinate things for DH to come pick me up, either go pick up my truck if its ready or go get a rental car, then pick up both girls and see how Emma's first day of Kindergarten was.  Jordyn is working after school until 8:30 tonight.  I have no clue what's for dinner, probably left overs.

I guess it's a busy day! Monday's and Thursday's seem to be the worst!

Took T to ortho to check her retainer...four more months of constant wearing. Weird, she wore it the last 6 weeks straight. K wore hers less and went to night wearing faster!!! Now I'm waiting for my volunteering to start at T's school! Then I will go home, have lunch and pack for the "conference relays" meet. I will pick up K's friend at 1:30, drop them off for the bus to leave at 1:45 and then will head down myself! It's just a fun kick off to the HS season. Dual meets start on Thursday!

DH will pick T up from the bus stop and drop her off at hockey! He works at 7p tonight. K's friends mom is going to pick her up for me and when I drop off the friend, from the meet, I will take T home with us.

Not sure what we will have for dinner. Don't even care to go to the store today! DH will be thrilled!!!

Morning.  Kids are off to school.  Took the girls today cause the bus is usually late and they don't have time to stop at their lockers in the morning.  Well, they do but don't realize they do even I keep telling them they can and aren't going to be marked tardy cause they have an excuse.  Anyway, traffic is still horrible.  I have to drive past the catholic school on my way and that is frustrating and time consuming.  I woke up with a headache and I am almost positive it;s because of the weather and pressure in the air.  I have a really messy house to clean up today.  I let it go over the weekend.  Of course no one bothered to do any cleaning either cause they weren't told to.  *insert eye roll here*

I am making a run to the grocery store today.  Pick up a few things we have run out of.  I need to return a couple of things to Hobby Lobby also.  Not sure I will get to that today.  Don't really want to drive all the way over there.  Natalie has PT after school so I am picking the girls up to ensure they are home before we have to leave.  I am picking up Matthew on our way home from school cause he needs to get Robotics info and will start walking since he will probably miss the bus.  We are going to go to the library so the girls can find a book.  They have to have something to read everyday for Language Arts class in case they get done with class work.

Dinner I am planning to have salad with grilled chicken and avocado.
