Back to school today for us. Rainy and cold here, nobody wanted to get up. Tonight Alexis has dance and it is watch week so we can sit in during classes if we want. I may go to some, but 3 and 4 hours of watching is too much for me! My rear end goes numb.
good morning all busy week here. Jackie has this major workbook to finish for math by the 8th. Wish us luck. Then we have tickets to walking with the dinosaurs on thursday and an ortho appointment on tuesday.......tonight we have gymnastics.....and need to do some make up for that too.
good luck tracy. Sometimes just biting it an sitting though it a couple of nights. I know its hard but it will get easier. As for the rest of the day get some rest. things can wait. take care
Back to school for my girls too....drizzly, dark & cool so its a depressing Monday but thankfully its quiet at work (lot of people are off for some reason or other)
State testing starts tomorrow for both my girls both the reading & math...also this week will be busy for us w/sports starting up. Both girls are playing lacrosse (Rach travel league) then Jamie is also on a travel soccer team. DH coaching Jamie's team this year too....scheduling will be a challenge as will time to myself. Trying to have a sleepover for Jamie in between for her bday too ;-)
I'm on VACATION! It's spring break for me this week. I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee, and not enjoying the politics on tv. Adam has gymnastics tonight. That's about it for plans.
Do you mind if I vent? I installed an upgrade/renewal to my internet security software on Saturday. (Trend Micro PC-Cillin). As soon as I did, I lost my internet connection. I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own, since their tech support department is only open on weekdays, and I even got my VERY INTELLIGENT 20-year-old nephew to come try to help me last night, and he couldn't fix it either.... So I just spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support trying to fix the problem. Ultimately they had me do a System Restore to the way my computer was the day before I installed their software. That solved the problem, but I don't know what to do now as far as, do I reinstall their product and take the chance of going through this all again??? I paid good money for it. Maybe I can get my money back. If I do, what is another good internet security program (virus protection, firewall, etc.)?
So frustrating to waste all that time on what should have been something so simple--an upgrade to a product I've had for years.
So that has been my Monday, for the most part. I did get to work out today, so that was good. Doing laundry now. Did NOT get to see Barack speak at Penn State yesterday -- people must have camped out, he was not going to speak until 1:30 pm, and there were already mile-long lines in two directions at 9 am when we drove past....
