Long, but pretty good weekend. I have today off of work, but of course the girls are dilly dallying and I'm having a hard time getting out the door. I wanted to go get a new mail key at the post office, but that's going to have to wait til this afternoon now. I have an ObGYN appt. at 10:30, other than that, I just plan in spending the day doing laundry and stuff to catch up from the weekend. Jordyn has cheer clinics tonight from 4:30-6:30 for cheer try outs on Friday.

We actually had a chance to do things at a leisurely pace this weekend and I was able to get some things done and make decent meals too.

Today we're all dragging a little because no one could sleep last night. Both kids got in to bed before 10 but they each came and told me they couldn't
sleep between 11:15 and 11:30. Not good... Megan has state testing today
and Evan has a cold... I'm hoping to get everyone in begd early tonight. We 'll see if that happens. Tomorrow night is useless because Evan has a high school swim team banquet right after water polo practice and Megan has a state swim team practice followed by a pasta dinner. By the time everyone gets home it will be bedtime. Hopefully Megan won't have too much homework and she'll get it all done before practice.

Today is a regular day. Work this morning, things around the house this afternoon and homework and practices tonight. Dinner is either chicken tacos or ribs. I haven't decided. Ribs are frozen and ready to heat up. Chicken tacos would require taco seasoning and toppings. Hmmmmmm.

Couldn't sleep so I just got up and started my day. I was in the laundry room when DD ran in to tell me she felt an earthquake. It was about 5:30am. It was about a 4.0. DS slept right through it, which does not surprise me at all. I am taking a few days off to catch up around the house. Nothing got done this past weekend and I have a house full of company coming next weekend and jobs already lined up for the latter part of the week. DD has to peer tutor after school, so I will pick her up and take her home, wait for DS to call and pick him up. Then dance practice for DD and scouts for DS tonite and I get to do all the running. Dinner will be tortellini with chicken and pesto, I think asparagus also. Hope everyone has a great day!

I've decided to wait on the mail key, it's a $25 replacement fee, so DH and I will just have to share his for a while longer. I went to the doctor, ran to get a few groceries, came hime, mowed the lawn and just finished cleaning and vacuuming out my truck from the weekend. I am going to take a shower, make cookie bars and do another load of laundry before heading out to make a return at Joann's and office max, then to pick up the kids at daycare. Mi decided on grilled chicken and fettuccine Alfredo tonight for dinner since jordyn will be home after cheer clinics.

Still tired out from the weekend. It was a very long day today and I am feeling a little frayed around the edges.
