Not a whole lot going on here today. I work childcare for an al-anon meeting at church this morning and then come home and try to continue the cleaning spree I was on last week. I would also like to get the dog out for a walk and put in some time at the piano. Fortunately, taxi service isn't in business until 5 tonight so I have a little extra time today. Looks like I'm going to need it!

Megan has track after school then an hour break and then swim practice. She's going to be dead tired when she gets home and she'll still have homework and piano. Not the best set up but she wanted to try it today and see how it went. Evan has water polo til 5 and then swimming later tonight. Again, not surer how all of this is going to work but we'll give it a try.

Dinner, hmmmm... Evan and I had something planned but I can't remember what the heck it was. Maybe the fridge and pantry will give me a clue. Of course, we could always have ham sandwiches. Mom sent us home with plenty yesterday. We even have potatoes to go with it.

I would also like to take some time today to inventory what needs to get done in the next several weeks and plan it out. In another week or so things are going to start getting crazy. Dh has his black belt test, water polo will be finishing up, swimming and track will kick in, Megan's birthday and our trip to KY are at the end of the month and we now have a friend of Megan's riding with us both ways. Fun for them, a little bit stressful for me. Means I have to have a few more things done on the car before we go and I need to figure out how to pay for them. :P. Want to get this all planned out before I start get overwhelmed and cranky about it.

Have a great day everyone!

This morning and afternoon is school and housework. I've got laundry, dishes, dusting, garbages, and some genreal uncluttering to tackle. Zeph has science, literature, reading, math, and his whale unit to work on. Planning to take the dog for a walk and then go to the library, Target, the post office, grocery store, and the pet store for food. Hoping to have time for dinner and then its off to soccer. We might need to eat afterwards depending on

We have no school today, so I have declared today a "binge and purge" day. (the name for it came from an office where I used to work. Once a year, the secretaries would bring in dishes and treats for a potluck, dress casually, and eat and purge files) DD is going to take the recycling to the transfer station before she has to go to work, I am going to work in the home office in the basement, and DS is going to work in the boathouse and clean out DH's truck. If we can get all these jobs done today, that will be a good start to getting things straightened up around here. I made DS one of his favorites, chocolate chip pancakes, for breakfast, and I found a wonderful dessert recipe in Midwest Living magazine that I might try for dinner this evening.

Hi everyone,

Last day of spring break - or maybe not, since I think my pinkeye may be returning. I'll have to monitor this through the day. I would really love to not have to make a trip to the doctor or miss work.

Today I slept in a little.

Cheryl, I hope everyone enjoys spring break. I wish we were just starting but it's our last day off.

Good luck with the violin shopping, that's quite a financial commitment.

Daycare lady is seriously looking to underpay.

Cheryl, I agree with Mindy. I pay $1450 a month for the girls and that is with a 5% sibling discount, plus $75 bi-annual registration fees for each kid. Even when they were going to an in-home daycare, for both of them I was paying around $275 a week, which was still $1150ish a month.

School and housework done. We decided to takethe dog on errands with us rather than a walk. Waiitng on a load in the washer to be put in the dryer and then we're off on errands. Looks like dinner will be after soccer. Couscous it is-quick and tastey.
