I need to put the house back together. Last week was so busy that things just got out of control. I'm doing childcare at church this morning and then attacking the chaos here this afternoon. Tonight Megan has music and Evan has swimming. I have a meeting where we're interviewing a candidate for the associate pastor position at church tonight and that's about it. Fortunately, things look a lot less hectic this week.
I also need to sit down and update calendars today too. Evan's got a bunch of Boy Scout events and swim meets that need to be added, Megan's got some piano recitals that need to be posted, and I've got some church meetings to add. Eeeek! Did I say things were going to be less hectic?
It is sunny out today here as well. But tomorrow we are suppose to have scattered showers and thunderstorms. It really is the start of spring. My kids are wrapping up their last weeks of school and we are trying to make some weekly plans for the summer. Our public Library has storytimes every Monday so I want to do that. I want to get my kids into swimming lessons. The hug party I am throwing for all the kids in on June 7th so I have a lot to get done that way. I have one more invitation to make and that is Brad's. WHen it is done,
Nothing too exciting here. Kristen has a field trip at the university. She was not impressed but I made her go. They played squash, soccer (which she hates), basketball (which she hates more) and volleyball (the only sport she loves). But she survived. LOL They got lunch included to that was good. However they told them they'd be going swimming so she wore her bathing suit under her clothes and then they said "oh, that was last year's form, no swimming." So she was stuck wearing her bathing suit top all day.
Work was the usual last minute panic. We offered our input on some briefs for our Prime Minister 2 weeks ago. When do we get the request? 4:30 Friday (of course no one is working on the weekend) and they are due at 5:00 today. Riiiiiight. Lets pull a rabbit out of our hat. And that was the 3rd request like that giving us 24 hours or less notice in the last 2 days. Annnnooooyyyying.
I was lazy and picked up burgers for dinner. We were going to go to the tulip festival site tonight but I'm not sure I feel like it. We may just stay home and do not much of anything.

Work and then Adam has gymnastics and Joey has karate tonight, both at the same time!
