We had kind of a busy weekend too. Friday evening my brother and his 2 kids came over for pizza, and my 10 year-old nephew wound up spending the night with Matthew.

Saturday I went to get my hair deep-conditioned and trimmed, and then we put up our trees. Saturday night DH and I went to the Emergency Department Christmas party, which was fancy-schmancy, LOL. We had fun though.

Yesterday was just church, grocery shopping, relaxing, recovering (I was a bit hungover yesterday ;) )

This morning I wrapped a few gifts. I am a horrible gift-wrapper (Can you say "Cut and patch"? LOL), so I stopped after 3. Then I ran a gift over to my sister's house, because today is her birthday (I used a gift bag for that one!). My DH worked all night, so he's asleep, but he and Matthew both have a dentist appointment (checkup/cleaning) at 4 PM, so I have to make sure he gets up by like 2. I forgot to remind Matthew about it this morning, and he's not going to be too thrilled to get home from school and run off to the dentist right away.

Hope everyone's having a good day.

Hey ladies!

Had a really good and busy weekend. Saturday, my kids went and baked Christmas cookies with about 100 other kids at the Ritz (hotel, yes). There was also a visit with Santa but my kids aren't into Santa so.... They were also served lunch and watched a movie. We shopped some more for our gifts that we are giving. Then we went to a Christmas Dinner party. The food was mmm mmm good! Then on our way home we drove around to the neighborhoods in our area that are famous for their themed Christmas decor. The kids fell asleep in the car and Julian was driving so freaking slow. I forget this is still new to him. We used to do that all the time when I was growing up. So I sipped my caramel latte and savored the sights.

Sunday was church and then we went to the Adopt A family program. We were able to meet the family that we adopted. The mom was very grateful and the kids were adorable. At the last minute, Jasmin and I went through her stuff in the basement and pulled out all of the UNOPENED age appropo toys for the little girl. My kids were so excited to meet our family! It was truly a blessed time. Then we had yet ANOTHER Christmas gathering at a members house. The kids and dads played the Wii while the mom's wrapped gifts. I was the live entertainment (HA) as I am not much of a "wrapper'. Fun was had by all.

Back to the grind. My boss is on a rampage today! PMS is a thing of the past (lucky for us both) because it would have been bad business.

Have a GREAT day!! =)

Afternoon everyone! This morning I did my usual childcare stint during Bible Study at church. Went a little early to practice on the piano in the sanctuary because I'm playing for the service on the 28th. I locked myself out of the house (purse was in a tote bag last night but I took it out and forgot this morning) but luckily, dh was on his way home so I waited in the car and listened to Christmas music for a few minutes.

This afternoon it's laundry and brainstorming gift ideas for one or two people. Need to grab groceries too.

Hey, guess what! Dh decided that we are having an office Christmas party! :) Him, me, and the dog!! (He works from home) Not sure exactly what we'll do but I'll think of something. :)

The office party sounds fun-- BOOT the dog and it CAN REALLY BE FUN! You can't have any witnesses to

I had a good Monday, aside from all the kids being wound up and excited b/c there's only 4 more school days until our Christmas break.
