Well, it took me 4 tries and moving over to firefox to finally get this thread to post.  Hoping that's not an indication of how the day is going to go, but I'm not holding my breath...  We had a long weekend at Jordyn's cheer competition, but they took first place, grand champions for high points in their level and won a paid bid to a big national championship competition in New Orleans in April.  So all in all it was a good weekend for the kids.  Jordyn is skipping cheerleading today and going in for second period as she didn't get home til almost 10 last night and had homework to do still.

I have a meeting at 10 this morning and had an email this morning asking to meet with my old boss in legal to help with a hearing on Thursday, his new paralegal is out at a training Monday - Wednesday this week, so we'll see how that works.  Not sure about lunch yet, possibly the grocery store.  DH has a full day of work again (loving him being so busy again), not sure what's for dinner yet.  I have a spaghetti squash, but not sure I have time to make it, so it may be something simple tonight and then I can roast the spaghetti squash tonight to make a spaghetti lasagna tomorrow evening.

Have a great one!!

Good morning.  Zeph is out shoveling, as we got as few inches of snow last night.  It looks like he's moved on to the neighbor's driveway and sidewalk.  DH had to fly out early this morning, but called to say the roads were fine and salt trucks/plows were out.  That's good to hear since weve got a drive to get to Zeph's Microsoft class and it is mostly highway.

Some school this morning and late afternoon.  Baked breaded cod with homemade sea salt fries and canteloupe for dinner (salad for me).  Hoping to get to the dishwasher and 6 loads of laundry done also.  We find out today if Zeph made it to the regional round for the history bee.  Fingers crossed!

Morning.  What a slow rotten weekend.  Maybe cause I went no where and did a whole lot of nothing.  I wasn't feeling too great and spent my weekend sleeping and letting the family take care of things.  I did have a few coughing fits last night when trying to go to sleep and didn't get to sleep until about 3 or 4 this morning.  So I am hoping to get a nap in.  Tim said he'd take me to lunch today, I hope he still is since he said he'd see me at lunch.  He doesn't always remember things like that.  I might get a few things cleaned up around here.  Floors vacuumed and stuff.  As far as I know nothing is going on tonight.  My mom is coming for dinner but I know she stayed up late working on a problem with her phone so who knows.

Dinner will be mexican salad.

Friday night the pilot light in the water heater goes out.  We have a hot-water based heating system, so that was the reason the house was getting cold.  Dh thought it was that rain had gotten in Thursday night (we had this wind/rain storm line come through).  Sat there was a small flood of water in the garage.  I came back and dh told me the water heater's leaking.  Goody.  Just what I wanted to do- replace that.

It's not fixed yet.  He wants to try a tankless system.  He thinks it would work with our heating system,  He got an email yesterday from one guy- and was hoping to hear from a couple more.  I just want it fixed- there's now water in different places in the garage (thank heavens it's not inside the house- what a mess that could be) so I moved everything so it won't be sitting in water.  But I'm willing to try tankless.  This will be the 3rd heater in 20 years, and he said something about the tankless ones average 20 years.  That would offset the higher expense of installing the systerm.  Though I really didn't want to spend our whole tax refund on it, but oh well.

Becca has a dentist appt this afternoon.  And she forgot her note.  SIGH.  I guess I'm going over to the school at lunchtime and telling them she needs to go to a dentist appt.

Need to put the roast in the crock pot for tonight.  Becca's got orchestra rehersal.

Hi everyone, hope your week got off to a good start.

Felt like a hectic work day for me.  Day started off badly, my car woudn't start. I guess it's really due for a new battery, making an appointment for later this week.

After work, ran a few errands, made an early dinner and now baking cupcakes - one of the other TAs in my room is celebrating her 50th bday tomorrow.

The kids are off at a 4H TAG meeting and Dh is on his way to a meeting so I'll have a couple of peaceful hours at home.  I have a little paperwork to do, then I want to catch up on a couple of tivo'd shows and hopefully turn in around 10:00, I didn't sleep enough last night and it's a busy week
