Happy New Years Eve, everyone!  What are your plans?  What was your favorite moment of 2012? What are you most looking forward to in 2013?

I was supposed to have lunch with a friend today, but she got sick and cancelled :(   Just hanging around the house, reading, catching up on emails, have to run out and pick up the gelato pies in a little bit. Ian is buying himself stuff with his itunes giftcards.

Tonight, our friends are having their annual New Years Eve gathering. A low key but fun evening, usually 4 families and an extra teen or two, capped off by midnight sledding.

My shining moment of 2012 was Kayleigh getting a huge scholarship to her top choice of private college. I am most looking forward to her graduation in June (on her bday!)

Quiet night at home for us.  I have a cold and I'm crabby and stuffy.  I was going to cook, but since I'm coughing all over, I don't think anyone wants to eat my food!  I think our biggest achievement was moving into the ILs home and taking charge of our financial future.  While it was emotional, we all came through it unscathed and it was the right choice.  My favorite moment was playing on the beach in Charleston, watching the sun set.  I'm looking forward to taking control of my health and body in 2013 as well as travel opportunities.

You stole my thread idea for tomorrow Mindy! ;0).

I got up, took a shower, got the kids breakfast then off to daycare.  I went grocery shopping, brought them home, unloaded them, did the dishes and am going to start dinner in the crock pot next.  Jordyn is home doing her scrapbook stuff.  And she is going out tonight with friends.  I will be home with the girls as DH is still out of town for the rest of this week.

I need to do a bunch of laundry and clean the house a bit before I go pick up the girls, then go to the chiropractor.  I am in a baking mood, so I am getting stuff out for the next two days to do some baking with the girls.

this past year, the highlight was definitely Joryn's acceptance to college and scholarships.  As for next year, we have a lot on the horizon, a job change for me, Jordyn's graduation, most likely a move for the family, it widecide finitely be an eventful year, I just hope all of them are positive changes.

Getting ready to head out and run a few errands. Looks like we have a bit of flex spending money left so I am going to get an extra pair of glasses, then a quick trip to the grocery store. We have friends that throw a party everyone from little ones to adults, usually a good time. looking forward to starting the college search process with DS in 2013. Overall 2012 was an uneventful year, just watching life move along is enough for me. A healthy, happy new year to all!

I put away some of the Christmas stuff, small tree and most of the decorations.  Still have big tree and the big tree.  Did some kitchen cleanup and moved the table around to get ready for our New Years Eve family party.  I laid around on the couch reading and browsing on my ipad most of the morning this morning.  Tim came home for lunch and two of the kids were still in bed.  I just let them sleep.  I did finally wake Matthew up at 1pm.  Thought that was long enough.  LOL  I started getting things ready for our family party at about 2pm.  Things needed to go into the crock pot.  Ran to the store after realizing I didn't have enough meatballs.  It was crazy busy there at 3:30 pm.  Came home and got  crazy busy getting things pulled together for our party.  We are finally sitting down eating and watching "Last of the Mohicans".  Not sure I spelled that right.  Girls are waiting for the New Years Eve special to start on ABC.  Some favorite singers on there tonight.  Happy New Years ladies!!!
