**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

The stores were crazy today.Gabby saw a make-uo kit she wanted in ULTA for $14.99,so she wanted to go there, they were also passing out a free 10 day supply of bare minerials make-up.Gabby wanted to see if she likes it.She does so now I know what color to buy fr her.It is really sheer and light.Staples was also packed, with everyone doing last min shopping since most schools around her go back tom-wed depending on the district.

The VS store at the mall didn't have any PINK stuff smaller than 34B, which was most annoying.

Daisy needs a new strapless bra, did you find a good one at AERO, I know they have their aerie line, but haven't really looked at it.

Yes we did>Gabby loves it.You can wear it as a reguler bra, with clear staps,or with a pola dotty strap.I don't rember the name of it,but the padding is jsut right. The one VS was trying to sell us had gel padding and it made Gabby very unconfortable, becaus eit made her look like she was trying to make her chest bigger and she is only 12,so she was not ready for that.It did come in the A cup.Aerie line is great.Gabby actually likes aerie better than VS.She will walk arund the mall with that bag,but for some reason se wants to hide the VS bag;-)(not sure what is up with that, but I'm not a 12 year old)

They gave us Gabby's with her final report card, but is also online at our school's web site.I was pretty much done, but Gabby wanted 2 sided note cards fr French.Plus they had slider pencil cases for 5 cents and the hand held pencil sharpeners for free(limit 3)These also work great for lip and eye liner.

I think most people were doing major supply shopping.I am sure Gab will come home with a few more things I have to buy.I hate the first days of school, because there are way to many forms to sign.

I guess I am just too frugal to drop "big" money on clothes.

Of course what is considered "big" money is different for everyone.

$50 on a shirt that my child will most likely outgrow in six months, not for me.

$50 on a Wii game that our whole family loves, worth it.

$200 on jeans,

Wow, that is a LONG time to be at the field!

We are down to two hours at a time. I can handle that.

That's more like me! ;o)

I can't get Aly to find a pair of jeans to try on, though. She doesn't like the way they look on the shelves, so she doesn't want to go try them on. She only NEEDS one good pair since she can't wear them to school anyway (except on jean days).
