**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

DYK

I hung it all up in my closet.

I am sure that some of the clothes that I am washing right now were really clean. Alexis does the same as Gabby, toss it back in.

Well, Alexis is home from school.

Some of my daycare girls were wearing her headbands as she came in the house.

She went straight to her room.

When I finally went in she was on the bed sobbing.

What did you do to my stuff???

I showed her where to find what she was searching for and told her if anything else was missing she could ask me or dig through the bag of garbage that is outside.

Yeah, I feel kind of mean, but it needed done.

well, I'm indifferent on that...I think it's funny, but it's not something you should be using work e-mail for.

Birth announcements drive me crazy! Our secretary sent out an e-mail my first year of teaching when one baby was born (we had 3 babies born that year), and on the next day's bulletin (that has to be written by the secretary..lol) was "Birth announcements are not allowed on school board e-mail."

BUT, it's okay to send multiple e-mails about a baby/wedding shower that will be taking place at the school. WHAT???? Just let us use it for birth announcements!

I completely agree with the sending in of tissues, wipes, etc. BUT, they are not "instructional" and therefore the school is very limited in funds for this. So, it's either parents send it or the kids don't have it.

Not all of my homeroom brought in their stuff, so I'll be buying again by the end of the school year or there won't be any.
