**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Hi Lisa,

Sorry for my quick reply and then jumping ship with out saying more. It was a bad time of day for me to try and get on.

Mornings stink, don't they?

My kids are doing okay with school. Nothing major yet besides some girl drama for Alexis. They've already had school pictures this week.

Your kids looked wonderful on their first day!! How is Andrew liking 7th grade? And Amanda is in first now, right? How about Rebecca, is she old enough for preschool? Oh, and how is her skin doing?

How are things with your family in general? I know at one point you mentioned your DH moving to be with you all. Is that still coming to be?

Glad to see you, I miss you when you aren't here!!!

Speaking of disecting frogs in 7th grade. I remember doing it vividly! I was also reminded by my now step sister that we put some frog nasties on a girls desk cause she was mean and nasty. LOL!!!

Btw, my step sister and I went to school together all through high school and then I worked with her mom (my step mom) and then she and my dad got married like 9 years later. Just thought I'd share that weirdness with you all.

He is THE sweetest! He's in my homeroom/1st hour. He made a 100% on his recent quiz...I'm so proud of him. He goes to regular science, social studies, & band, then resource for his other core subjects. I think he's 3 years older than Aly (he's a grade higher).

Aly & I met Mike on the first day of school at a little town close to the school, but between the school and home, and where Mike is working now. We met at a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Walk in...and there is this kid and his mom! It was such a great meeting...I chatted with her for a few minutes and she told me some things that made me feel so good.

DYK -

The gym teacher tells the kids they need a "new" pair of sneakers to wear ONLY on the gym floor and no where else.
