**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I figured out a present for DH for our anniversary. It's a present for me to, and it has to do with our next anniversary which will be our 15th.

Disney World. There was at least one cruise from Disneyland this year, but I'm not sure what time of year it sails?

wooohoo...I learned how to finalize a DVD on my DVD recorder so I can play it elsewhere.

Thurs night, I was watching Samantha Brown's Passport to China (which is several episodes) and one episode includes pandas. In the state's 7th grade science curriculum, there is an awesome "panda project" that my students loved last year (and 3 years ago, when I taught 7th grade, as well). Thankfully, it was NOT taken out the curriculum this year.

Well, I decided to record it so I can play that for the students. But they have to be finalized in order to play on another DVD player, so I had to learn how to do that (I think we've had this recorder for almost a year now...lol).

okay..I thought I had heard they started cruising from there. Didn't realize it was just once. Will they eventually do it like Disney WORLD does it? Or will it always be an occasional thing?

I don't know. I haven't paid to much attention to cruises before.

dyk pretty humid here too Ang although it was not very hot today
dyk it stormed in the afternoon and cooled things down but it got sticky again
dyk stormed again during dinner
dyk I hope that tomorrow will be a nice day, I haven't checked the forecast today
dyk We hope to hit a neighboring county's fair tomorrow if weather is good
dyk I feel badly for my sister on her Jersey shore long weekend if the weather is as bad there which I suspect it is.
