It gets harder and harder for me to come up with interesting stocking stuffers as the boys get older.

Do they have handheld game systems? Maybe a game for those... My ds (11) is always asking for chapstick, maybe that's a thought. Not exciting but useful. What about coupons to get out of tasks they usually do (take out the garbage, unload the dishwasher, etc.)? Super warm socks if you need those where you live. A card game? Magazines or puzzle books? Wish I could be more help but I'm running into the same thing myself...

In addition to the ideas mentioned, our boys are getting book lights in their stockings, as well as Tooth Tunes toothbrushes, basketball-shaped lip balm, Penn State ballpoint pens, a sleeve of golf balls and tees....

I was planning on asking the very same question, I'm struggling this year too, and my son LOVES his stocking, so I'm really hoping for more ideas.

When I put gifts in the stockings, I do not wrap them.

My boy is younger still, but I was thinking maybe things like Axe spray, socks (like I buy walmart socks most of the time, so Nike socks would be different). I liked the earbuds and battery suggestions. Girls are way easier!
