DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Buy one get one free is always good!

My dh wants a new phone, but he is going to have to wait.

I would like a new one too, I just started using Abby's old one but I don't really like it.

Thanks!

I got it on signature making for beginners.

My friend Mia from Reality TV Junkies actually made it, she told me I didn't have to use it but she tried it.

I loved it!

DYK:

My brother came down from NJ & had one so we got to try it out altho my bro's is the older 1st gen iPhone. This does have iTunes as well as a web browser & email so its like a Blackberry. However, the iPhone has all these applications in the Apps store on iTunes.

My DH has always been a Mac guy (he's artistic, a musician so that may be why) but I have to admit this is a cool device for anyone. It has a touch screen w/icons just like the Mac; you can put your iPod songs on as well but tons of games & apps like a calorie counter. The other night we saw a commercial for the iPhone where a song came on some speakers & someone held up the iPhone up to it & it can search via iTunes probably to find out the name & artist of the song.

One note though, right now iPhone is available only on AT&T, which we had already. If you have some other provider it doesn't work w/it.

Thanks for the info!

I think my DH would love it

He is also a Mac guy (Maybe because he's scientific, LOL)

Our computers in our house are Macs, and I love them

The only thing is, if I bought him an iPhone, he'd have to give up his blackberry and it has ALL HIS MEDICAL INFO on it

Maybe he could give his iPod to Justin, who doesn't have one yet

It's something to think about, anyway
