DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I don't know ither than Gab and my nieces and nephew or any little ones I just can not get too excited about buying adults a bunch of stuff they do not need or want. That is why I stick with gift cards.Even with the neices and nephew,I stick with gift cards becasue they are not little anymore, and I can't get too excited about picking out something they will probably take back. Now if I could just convince MIL to get GAb a gift card. She calls me daily asking me if Gab would like this or that and I always feel so rude saying no.Last year she got Gab underarmour in a kids med(it was on sale)after I told her to buy the adult small since the stuff is cut very small. This year I told MIL Gab's coat was black and white, but she gets her a brown barett.I can never take he stuff back becasue I do not have a clue where she buys it.However, like I tell Gab it ruely is the thought and Gma means well.If she would just get a $15 or $20 gift card,we would actually use it.Sorry

Wow I can not imagine an adult caring that much. You figure she would want you to spend the money on her grandkids,at least that is how it is with all Gabby's grandparents, none of them want anything. My mom really spoils Gab though.

I would say a GC for your older brother would be a great idea.

What will you do for your folks? we always have the hardest time with parents, so I am thrilled to have an idea for my dad, now we just need to figure out my inlaws!

Better safe than sorry!

DYK

I wondered if he could treat himself, made sense to me.

I agree that his hours are probably totally insane and it is hard to stay healthy when you don't get enough rest.

My dh is a factory worker, not a dr. but he works crazy hours and doesn't get enough sleep so he is sick often.
