DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

My dad was the cook in our family.Do your brothers cook?My next door neighbor when I was growing up was Greek and she never let her sons cook a thing. Not sure if they cook now or not.

I went back and re-read Eclipse paying attention to the details after our last chat about this, and I still didn't think there was that much there to even comment on.

Daisy got to the point where she didn't like ballet when she was taking classes before, so I was surprised when she said she would rather do ballet than jazz.

I don't either anymore. The second time I read the series, I so tried to hide it from him. Always kept a blanket handy or something....lol.

This time, yeah, I'm reading it.

Actually, HE bought me the boxed set, after I already had all 4 books + a second copy of Twilight. All I said was I wanted the boxed set to display with our books in the living room (I also have Harry Potter, Narnia, & Magic Treehouse, along with the first book of Eragon...I never bothered to buy the other 2 since I haven't even read that one yet). We also have 2 Bibles on that shelf too....Mike's leather-bound (might be vinyl, but it's really nice) and my Precious Moments Bible.

Haven't heard of that one. Was it good? Is it actually YA or is it adult?

Of course, Chap 20 has more than just that in it. I LOVE Chapter 20. I've read that chapter many times...the whole chapter is so good.

she is. And her cough's really not quieted down completely...she's still barking day & night. As I typed that, she coughed again.
