DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

All I have is like an anniversary band type ring with 9 small diamonds in it:

Dr Bruce's wife finished her chemo in October

I have no idea why he hasn't come back to work full-time

I hate to be mean, but I think he's using Michael

I know she's still sick, so I hope I'm wrong, but at this point, it has just gotten to be too much for Michael and for our family

Two days/week he works about 18 hours straight, and another 2 he works the ER on 4 hours sleep, and he is so wiped out I worry about him even driving home sometimes; not to mention missing time with me and the kids!

It's a wonder he hasn't killed someone yet he's so tired half the time

He loves the work though, and he's REALLY going to miss his patients when he quits

And they are really going to miss him too

But I miss him more!

LOL

My mom gave up her dishwasher when I was in high school in exchange for a double oven, I think to this day she still regrets it, poor thing, I have going over to their house and eating because I always feel like I need to help do the dishes then.

I could probably use it pretty easily, but honestly, I don't know that there is anything I need that bad... LOL!

I would think that if she finished the chemo in Oct.She should at least be able to function somewhat, even if she is having the radiation. However, everyone is different so you never know. Most of the people who are receving radition where my mom is are pretty much leading normal lives, other than going to the hospital everyday to get a treatment. My mom is still doing ok with the radition, she is a little tired, but who isn't at this time of year? You would think if the Dr was planning on being off longer he would find a premenant replacement and not Michael. He truely may be needed at home and he probably knows Michaelis a softy and won't say no,so he can be taking advantage of the sititution.

I am dropping in to share that I sent my wedding band to CA to our jeweler for repair and my hand looks naked.

Better safe than sorry though, right?

I take mine off when I go to sleep and apply lotion and moisturizer.

DH NEVER takes his off

My BIL wears his 15% of the time and my sister wears hers 24/7. I think thats rude!

I could do without a double oven. The only time I would see a need for one would be if you were having a dinner party or on Christmas and Thanksgiving.Of course one would have been nice on Thanksgiving when my oven was acting up;-)I rarely use my oven.Maybe once or twice a week and in the summer time I use the stove, but I never turn the oven on,since it heats up the house.I could not live without a dishwasher.I went without one for two weeks when my last one broke and kind of flooded the floor and dh did not install mine for two weeks becasue he wanted the floor completly dried out before putting the new one in.I whined the whole time;-)

Well, I've been thinking about that.

How about some nice "bedroom" pictures. You could totally do it with nobody being any the wiser and they would be just for him. Bet he'd like that too.
