DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Glad it is better, but hope it goes all the way away soon.

I hope it goes away completely soon!

I hate migraines (well, I guess nobody likes them, lol) mine usually start on one side of my head, and stay there for about a day, and then they go to the other side and camp out there for a day or so.

I haven't had one in a while, thank goodness!

well, like we've mentioned earlier in the thread...it's subtle, it's not "out there", but Breaking Dawn is even more subtle than Eclipse. Eclipse gives you details (even though they never get past kissing), but Breaking Dawn goes from, "Let's Do it"....to "wow, that was great".

I didn't ban her from it....I just told her I'd rather she wait, and she's been cool with that so far. Plus, I don't know of a single girl in 6th grade who has read past New Moon anyway.

But we now have 2 copies right here in the house....if she really wants to read it, I wouldn't forbid it.

Alexis bought the second book yesterday.....so it is the 3rd and 4th books that have this stuff? It sounds pretty tame......but maybe I'll read it first anyway.

I probably won't read the entire book, but I'll be back asking you which chapters in which books I do need to read first.

I never read Forever by Judy Blume. And Sixteen? Was that another controversial one by Judy Blume?? My library didn't carry it, and as far as bookstores went, we had Wal-mart and they didn't carry it either.

I remember Tiger Eyes being not so innocent (not so bad, but), and I read that in 5th grade.

yes, I've read them all.

Thankfully, I didn't go there until I was finished Breaking Dawn, but I read everything that was there.

I'm so sad that someone (that she knows) leaked the partial Midnight Sun. I hope she finds a way to finish it one day, but I totally understand if she doesn't. I won't sign a petition for that reason (not that I go around signing online petitions anyway..lol).

Aly read it, too.

Her Official Guide was scheduled to come out today, but has been pushed back to who knows when. I've seen Feb 1, Sept 30, & Dec 30. Some sites don't even put a date.
