DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I forget why caffeine helps headaches, but a lot of times when I have a headache, Michael tells me to drink a cup of coffee, and then a glass of water, and a lot of times it helps!!

He told me once why, and I think it has something to do with the vascular system in your brain and caffeine's affect on it

Yes, he got his filling redone yesterday, so half his face was numb for a few hours

Then he started complaining that it was sore

Men are such babies, LOL!!

They refilled his tooth with white so it doesn't show, even though it was a back tooth on the top and no one could see it

Pretty cool

He came home with this new SONICARE electric toothbrush he bought from the dentist

I guess everyone can use it, and you just change the brushes ("heads") on the top

You can sterilize them in this little UV compartment too

Pretty fancy, but I'm not sure how necessary that was

My DH is all about fancy medical equipment, LOL

BTW Ang, I love the picture of your girls in your siggy

They are so pretty!

I haven't needed them before, but I think it's time to ask. I still have a trace feeling of the migraine now.

Not enough that I can't function. Yesterday, it eventually incapacitated me. That hasn't happened in a very long time...over a year.

Aly keeps the TV on Disney, only changing it at 6:30pm on weekdays to watch Millionaire...lol.

Speaking of Millionaire, Cox Cable cannot come to an agreement with our local CBS station. That means (if they don't by midnight tomorrow) no nightly Millionaire, no Ghost Whisperer, & no Numb3rs (not that I've been following this year, but I love those 2 Friday night shows).

I'm p!ssed!!!

it constricts (right?) your blood vessels, which is why your heart starts to race because it has to pump harder to get through the smaller blood vessels.

but wouldn't the pumping harder make the headache worse? That I don't get!!!
