DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I don't think I'm gonna make it to watch a movie.

Zoe is having a hard time going to sleep.

Starting tomorrow, we need to start going to bed early again, so the girls can get back on schedule for school.

It took Zoe a week to start sleeping in, I hope she can get back to normal in a couple of days!

I don't even want to know what Abby will be like on Monday, I have been waking her up at 11:00.

Oh thanks Laura!

I have always loved fall and winter. Not that I love being out in the cold a lot, but it is just my favorite. I love snow...until I have to shovel it 47 times. But it is so pretty.

DYK last yr it was even sadder, at least now he can talk. Last yr it wasn't too long after his stroke & he spoke verrry slowly....my girls asked what was wrong w/him. We just had a discussion about who he was, the pop acts that appeared on his show, the importance of getting on their, record sales, etc the whole music scene in the 60s basically

I love fall and winter too.

I would love them more if I lived somewhere that actually had seasons, lol.

Although I know I would not be able to survive living somewhere that gets snow!

I hope they get readjusted quickly!

Caleb has been pretty regular and Alexis will just have to deal that first Monday. She is a night owl, so midnight is not rare for her, but that first 6:30 will hit her like a ton of bricks!

I remember watching last year, it was sad.

I haven't seen him this year.

I think my kids were asleep last year when he was on, I can't remember.

Abby is a night owl too.

She recently told me that some nights she stays up readng until 11:00.

But she always seems to get up regardless, and she doesn't seem to get tired during the day.

She is like dh, she doesn't need as much sleep as some people.

I still try to make her go to bed early, but she has the advantage of me falling asleep early all the time, and not knowing how late she stays up!

As long as she's not grouchy, and her grades don't suffer, I don't really care.

Since Gab is at a sleep over she gets until Friday.I just don't want her up til all hours on Sunday night. Not that we are going to be getting up the same time she does for school just 9 or so.She actually has been up by 10 every morning which isn't too bad.
