DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

That is weird. I think it would have been MORE fair if the discount were only offered to parish members. Does that make sense? And not just to all Catholics.

Where I grew up, if you lived on one side of town, you went to this church..if you lived on the other, you went to this one. OR I should say, a parishioner of....you could go wherever you wanted, but you were a parishioner of the one determined by where you live.

The info sheet at my gynecologist's office asks for my religion. I'm guessing it has to do with pregnancy and emergency situations (maybe????...I don't know). My doctor's a Catholic, too, though.

I never take mine off (well, not never, but I even shower with--I take it off when I'm getting my hands dirty, like baking & stuff).

Mike hasn't worn his in YEARS...too constricting.

we have a neighbor dog like that.

And I had 2 students last year with eyes like that. Very cool to point them out when talking genetics...lol. They were proud of it, though.
