DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Now that you mention it when my mom was starting her cancer treatment(chemo)they asked her if she was a Jehovah's Witness. It struck me as odd and when I asked why it had something to do with they do not believe in blood transfusions, even to save their lives.Other than that no one has ever ask.My mom did say that back in the late 60's my Aunts dr refused to tie her tubes(after 9 kids),becasue he was a Catholic. She just went to another Dr.However when they ask my mom they actually asked if she was a Jehovah's witness not what religion she was.

Alexis turned 13 in October. Thank you for the kind compliments!

DYK I had thought for a while to name her something different...like October. I am glad that DH and my mom brought me to my senses before she was born. her middle name is Faith. Unfortunatly it is

LOL! Don't ask me, I've never taken them, I just think it is a good idea especially when he said he wanted you.

I would think it would be easier in a room alone rather in front of a stranger. jmho!

Maybe she wanted a little sisiter instead of a little brother.Gabby loves little girls to pieces.Although Caleb isn't really a little boy anymore.I am glad you did not name Alexis October.Alexis is much prettier, even if it is sort of popular(no really though)Gabrielle is a little more popular now than when I named Gabby.I just liked it becasue I did not know anyone named Gabrielle. When Gabby was 8 she wanted me to change her name to Coco. She has changed her mind on that on now.

Very true, a good professional would be good at making you comfortable, not feel skanky or anything.
