DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Very bittersweet.

But in the long run it's really what is best for her. She would have never quit, but I think she was almost relieved when we told her she was done.

dyk I haven't actually seen any information about the after school ski club this year

dyk I think it usually started in January

dyk I wonder if the rec department is doing it this year

dyk Dh and the kids have their skiis and passes, I don't know if we'd be able to manage the ski club and extra rental financially this year

dyk Italian seems to be going better, she pulled a 79 on her report card, one tiny point shy of getting onto honor roll, since she had a 92 or better in every other class

dyk How are Rach and Jamie doing in school?

dyk Ian just got his report card and I have his conference next week

dyk It sounds like Charles will really enjoy his new iphone

dyk we just got new phones yesterday, now I just have to find my old one

dyk I don't need anything fancy but Kayleigh's excited because the phones have texting and camera.

That was Jordyn's basic reason for quitting gymnastics, she was missing out on so much at school and with friends, and she just didn't have the spark to put in all the hard work needed to compete at such a high level anymore.

It was such an adjustment for us not being at the gym, but its nice now, we have more free time, but I so miss a lot of the

Isn't it amazing how much of your life it can consume?

We are going to Vegas this summer and that will be our last shebang.
