DYK Thread for December
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members
Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I thought I'd be shy too but it was fun. They had music playing and the ladies were helping with poses. They were telling me how beautiful I looked...which made me want to pose more.
It was fun!
My house in CA has dual heat and I don't think it works any better than our house here in IL. It was always freezing downstairs. I can't tell you how many times I had the heating and air guy come because I thought it was broken. My husband always reminded me "heat rises" but what does that have to do with the downstairs feeling like the North Pole?
Oh well such is life.

I'll bet your Catholic gynecologist asks for the patient's religion because she or he won't do abortions or prescribe certain kinds of birth control that are considered abortive, and might not tie patients' tubes.
Just my guess.
Michael will ask his patients if they're Jehova's Witnesses if he thinks there's a risk that he might have to give them blood if he does certain procedures on them
I've heard him ask patients that when I volunteer with him
That's because Jehova's Witnesses refuse all blood products, even to save their lives
He had one patient a few years ago who was really, really anemic to the point of it being life-threatening and he couldn't give them any blood because they were a Jehova's Witness. He had to give them some injection of something that helps your bone marrow make blood cells, but it takes a really long time, and he was afraid the patient was going to die.
I forget what happened to her, I've heard so many of his stories over the years, LOL
I should ask him. I think he remembers every single patient he's ever treated.
How old is Caleb?
He's really cute too
You have cute kids :)
